Senior Site Inspection NVQ
Level 6 NVQ - (Black CSCS Card)
This is the benchmark NVQ for experienced and active site inspectors, who monitor project quality and integrity, and implemented H&S systems; whilst ensuring progress is maintained and required communication between stakeholders fulfilled, up until project handover.
Candidates who may consider this qualification would include, Clerks of Works, Quality Inspectors, Architectural, and Site Inspectors.
Candidates will need to demonstrate practical skills in relevant areas, to prove you have the ability to carry out your work safely, and to an excellent standard. You will also need to show understanding and awareness, to prove you have a good level of work-related knowledge and understanding.

How the NVQ is Assessed
Our Level 6 Senior Site Inspection NVQ is designed to be straightforward and flexible, with no formal assignments or written work for candidates to complete.
We do not provide candidates with an e-portfolio or online platform to manage themselves. Instead, your assessor oversees the portfolio-building, and guides the process.
Your knowledge and understanding are captured through recorded professional discussions with your assessor, rather than through written questions or lengthy assignments.
Items such as reports, programmes, spreadsheets and e-systems are examined throughout the process, to demonstrate your role and responsibilities (and areas of competence).
Where appropriate, your assessor may also visit you in the workplace to carry out face-to-face assessment activities. However, the qualification is normally completed remotely through an engaging, supported process.
How Long Does the NVQ Take?
There is no set duration for completing our NVQs. The timeframe varies from candidate to candidate and depends on their existing skills, experience, job role, the evidence available to demonstrate competence and, importantly, their own willingness and commitment to engage with the assessment process.
Cost
The standard cost of this Level 6 NVQ is £1800 plus VAT at the prevailing rate. Grant money can be claimed back at completion by companies registered with CITB.
