CITB Grants
CITB Grants for Registered Companies
If your company is registered with CITB, you will be entitled to claim back Grant money upon completion of your staff NVQs (Achievement Grants). If you are a self-employed subcontractor, but work for a company registered with CITB, they will be eligible to claim grants for your NVQ too. Therefore, if you’re not registered yourself, you should speak to your current employer and discuss opportunities for cost support/rebate.

From 1st January 2026, the Achievement Grant rate for all in scope Level 2 – Level 7 NVQs will be £600 per achiever. This is with exception of Level 3 Rainscreen Cladding (Cladding Occupations), which has a current Grant rate of £1000 per achiever (this rate may be reduced at short notice).
All our NVQs are eligible for CITB Grants, with exception of the L3 & L6 Occupational Health and Safety Practice NVQs.
CITB’s Skills and Training Fund initiative has been closed, as of 30th September 2025.
CITB’s Employer Network initiative is live, and can assist registered companies with funding in-scope construction related courses and qualifications.
